Default I Was Shocked

I was shocked to see that from the 1,500 impressions only 3 clicked with which I earned only $0,02......

Has anyone ever had that before ?

Well, if that is really the case, it may mean that the content of your site may not be attractive enough to entice visitors to stay for long.
In any case, are we even allowed to discuss earnings from google adsense in public?

Hmm it might be in fight with their terms of service.
But then again when someone sets a site for sale he also ads screenshots of revenue right ?

There is a variety of reasons.

Yes, content is one thing. If that is the case, I would try optimization.

Another option would be what you define as earnings, do people signup? How do you earn revenue?

An example of the site would help and we can evaluate it.

I am going to assume your revenue is off of adsense ads as well as premium upgrades?

If premium upgrades are what you are looking for, consider there are countless free options out there. While a select few have managed to make money with paid image hosting, it's been very few and far between. The market is just so saturated that it's nearly impossible without a strong plan, management team and a lot of cash behind you.

Regarding revenue on adsense, please consider that overall click rates on adsense ads are going down. Some may disagree but the reality is that in itself is oversaturated in itself. If you want to increase click rates however, you might want to blend the ads much more into your site. All I see is a banner at the bottom and for the life of me, I can't imagine people clicking on it. You should also focus more on content, I don't see many keywords really related to anything. Ultimately my recommendation would be to try and find another revenue stream that makes sense and extends beyond adsense. I have seen webmasters go broke chasing after that golden adsense revenue. Fact is, very few people make a real living off of it. I know at least 200 webmasters and while a single one generates about $2k a month from it, the rest find themselves spending $10 to $500 a month only to generate $1 a day if they are lucky and that's with a high level of optimization.

Hope this helps, and best of luck. Let me know if I can be of any further help.

Yeah thanks a lot.
No we dont offer premium accounts.

Basically we are not really revenue concentrated. All we want is to establish a community that offers great service. Prob is that I have to cover the costs
Right now it does cover most of the costs.

Thanks a lot

thats a big reason i stopped using adsense, i get a lot of traffic so a lot of impressions, people just dont click the ads, so i took them off, no point in getting up impressions, i know how much traffic i get lol

I am still having issues understanding the concept as discussed in this thread. So, does it mean that if I have a good ratio with impressions:clicks then I get paid handsomely? If I have three clicks from fifty impressions vs. getting three clicks from 600 impressions, does that mean I make more with the fifty impression scenario?(and if so, I do not understand why, forgive me!)

I have read and read and read on this subject in the past weeks, it's not sinking in just yet.

Actually that happens a lot. The impressions really don't mean much as far as income is concerned. You should try search or referrals that might work better for you.
