I have a friend that was a member of Adsense and had earned $98 USD but someone came and clicked his ads twice, and he was banned. Sometimes, Adsense seems like a bit of a scam!

That is really unlucky. I wouldn't call adsense a scam in any way though.
Whenever they ban someone, usually there is a valid reason behind it. If not, you are usually able to reverse the decision through contacting their support staff.
How did your friend know that someone clicked on his ads twice on purpose anyway?

wait what? doesnt make any sense, just two clicks? no warning? doesnt make sense really. adsense isnt scam, i used to use them, i still have my account, has a few bucks in it but i dont plan on using them anymore, not fast money.
