Rep Power: 1 ![]() | I think it is far better to focus such efforts in primary and secondary education, rather than higher education. Our democracy should try and ensure that each child has the opportunity for a basic education. Reservations should be about equal opportunity, but they should not supercede merit. The work force of the country is not child's play. Anyone wanting to work must demonstrate sufficient merit for the task, irrespective of what caste he/she is from. |
