How good is GAF?

i just read another thread in this section of a member being scammed 200$ for a 25$ script..

but recently my friend got a good web project developed here ..

i intend to hire 2 web designers for a new type of site..do you think its safe enough??

i heard from the friend that they have an escrow service so that the payments are secure ..

i havent used it anytime before...any experienced or regular users of GAF? i mean get a free lancer.com..??

I was under the assumption that the coder doesn't get paid until the job is completed. I guess it's like anything else...you can get work done cheaply there but you have to be careful who you are dealing with. Do they have a feedback system in place?

You can't blame the gathering place for the people that gather there. Well, most of the time anyway. If you can find a user who you think is trustworthy then go ahead. But don't think that you have to find someone there.

Get onto with a person either whom you know or who has a proven track record to boast of - looking at the itrader stuff is one option
