This site is also filled by good and bad people. I once hired a programmer to code a script for me. I paid him $200 and later I found that it was turnkey script and can be found on internet for just $25.

Any place like this is going to have it's bad apples thrown in with the good places.

@IrDA - Honestly, I'm not too sure if that would be considered a scam. Does it suck that you spent the extra $175? Yes. But with the right research you could have found that same script. I see it as more of a $175 finders fee.
