They are plain text so while yahoo can block it after it sees enough duplicates, many times it's not so easy.

But if that is the way the emails are filtered then a good email would also go in Spam for a lot of duplicates...isnt so?

I believe so, there are certain occasions that some valid mail like verification mails from forums go to my bulk folders or are considered spam by yahoo or gmail.

i get a lot of these spam emails which keep saying "Confirm your address" & stuff and its really pissing.. because of this many of my personal emails are spammed too.

Spam is getting smarter too. No wonder it passes through sophisticated filters of yahoo.

Well, it should've passed the filters because they sent it manually with proper headers. You should label it as Bulk Mail so it doesn't reach your inbox again in future.

Me too I am having a lot of problems with spams. A lot of genuine mails are being directed to the bulk emails while spam are going to my inbox.
