Default Fraud PayPal e-mails

Hi guys,

I have noticed many fraud mail which look very similar to the one from PayPal but directs you to a website looking quite similar to PayPal.

Do you guys also receive such e-mails? Most of them come into Yahoo mail, although I've never notice any such mail coming to Gmail. It will be good if you ppl share you experience.

Here is some such link please be careful about it..with e-mail subject "Unauthorized access to your PayPal account!"

Thanks

I get the PayPal fraud emails all the time. I don't even bother to open them though. They just get deleted right away and sent to the Trash folder .

Yeah that true...my Yahoo spam box is full of such clutters, but its wise to inform others not to get into such traps in case those fraud mail skips the Trash and lands into your Inbox.

I get SOOO many of those. Luckily most go to spam in gmail... but they come in my regular inbox to. I Wonder how many accounts those folks get everyday. The "older" population is probably more vulnerable to those.

Just got one in my lifetime. But it was easily recognizable. So, I wasn't cheated. I think that if you search for the right info on google about these fraud mails, then you cannot be scammed. This is because most scammers are not ingenous and follow the beaten track again and again.

Default Read your info and do THIS

First off, Paypal e-mails address you by name. Second, there will never be a hyperlink to click, you are supposed to log in to the website to deal with anything relevant.

AND MOST IMPORTANT! When you get a fraud e-mail posing as a letter from Paypal - IMMEDIATELY forward it to spoof@paypal.com -This way they can start investigating where it came from and shut the thieves down before they do too much damage to people who have not read all the security procedures they have.

If you just delete it, you are giving the thieves that much more of a head start at stealing from others.
