Default Becabo Electronics its it for real or a scam?

On 04/09/07 I placed an order for a 52" LCD Sharp TV from a web site that I got from my browser. After sending the payment of $1,735.00 and sending several e-mails I have not received any reply with the exeption of the one that follow:

Dear Jose Jolguera,

Thank you for contacting Becabo Electronics Customer Service. My name is Quinlan and I will be happy to help you.
Unfortunatelly, the product is out of stock. There have been too many customers for that product in a very short time,
and the new stock is in late for 3-4 days. As soon as it comes, you are the first on our list. Our sincere apologies for any inconvenience.
We appreciate your patience in this matter. If you do not wish to wait due to the delay, you may request a cancellation for your order,
provided that the items has not shipped. Please allow up to 4 days for the full refund. If we do not hear from you before we ship the items,
you have agreed to the shipment delay. If you have any questions or comments, please contact us directly.

We are always happy to help.

Sincerely,
Quinlan

I just took a look at the site and it doesn't exist anymore. I'm going to take a blind stab and say you got scammed. I hope you didn't pay by Western Union. Why would you use an unknown company to buy electronics?

Angry Becabo electronics

I purchased some software from Amazon and somehow this outfit got my bank account #. They then went to Shopping.com and purchased click throughs with the account. shopping.com never acknowledged that the scam occurred and they stole $5,000 from my account. This happened between May 11th and 14th of 2007.
