Never give your credit card to a waiter in a hotel...they might jott it down n l8r use it for their selfish purposes

but still if u want to pay via a credit card u can go urself n check out that it is dun properly

Is it possible for other people to make transactions using the credit card of others? Sorry for my ignorance. I just really don't know how is this possible?

the credit card numbers can be used online to buy anything you want....literally -- ANYTHING !!

Yes, now I know. I searched on the net about these. I have learned this is also called as Invisible Identity Theft. People really need to take a lot of care to their credit cards.

hmm...i didnt know that it is called that...My Dad doesent even give me his credit no.....so forget about others getting it...he he....

I also do not give my credit cards to waiters, I just go to the counter and ask them to punch it infront of me so that they do not copy the CVV2 number which is necessary to use on internet.

i have heard this happening overseas and especially in asia with people taking your credit card "back for confirmation" or something and taking it down when they are at the back of the store.
