I have had a fraud problem on ebay last winter. I went to get a new stick of ram for my PC. I found what I thought was a good seller named "fastmemoryman" I paid for the item and recieved it. But when i stuck it in 10 different computers every single one of them crashed with the ram in them and then windows was corrupt the day after that on 5/10 machines. I requested money back and he said ok. I sent back item but never got payment!! Stay away if your planning on getting ram from him. there are lists you can find of people to stay away from I recommend looking that up.

I had a buyer commit fraud once. They filed a complaint saying item not as described, eBay told them to mail the product back...they did. It was a box full of rocks, they got a refund and my product (a digital camera).

Lucky for me I was able to file postal mail fraud charges on them, because I opened the box in front of my postmistress when I noticed it was a tad bit heavy. I eventually got my money back, but this is a prime example of buyers defrauding sellers.

I personally have been been able to pick out the bad from the good auctions, I always do my homework on the sellers!

I bought a digital camera about 2 years ago with the price of $210 and the item never came. The seller sold the same item to about 6 different people and disappeared. Disappointing.

I once ordered a couple of action figures of Gi joes from ebay and what i got in stead was a comics of Gijoes for 68$ i sent for the figures. Neither ebay nor the seller responded to me again.

I once bought a new camera with warranty but it was only refurbished one. I also bought some old currency notes which were looking in real good condition in pics but when I actually received them they were in real bad condition (like, dirty, torn, turned black).
