when i started chatting, my friend told me to lie about personal information. gave them wrong addresses, never gave out my phone number, never even had video conference with people i meet online. although i'm way past my teens, i still felt it's not safe to be giving out personal information. i've met some great friends online, but i've never met any of them personally.

Kids will remain kids. They are so much involved in chatting game, especially girls that they dont mind sharing personal information with anyone. Its getting dangerous.

Im not worried about the whole personal information thing. All the person has to do is go on myspace or facebook and find anything they could ever want about someone.... I would see someone on webcam first to see who i am actually talking to at the time and make sure my cam is "broke" <unplugged> as it would give better satisfaction but again never happends in Canada.

Great story, really didn't expect it turn out the way it did. With so much of this craziness going on I was of course expecting the worse.

Its a fantastic story and a very essential one for kids. Kids of nowadays are not very much aware of these kinds of problems. These things would make them to be very cautious.
