Default "Real World" Item Sales at Forums!

Hey everyone,

If you ever see a thread stating a sale of cellphones or something, click the report button!

Why do I say this?
It isn't a person, it is a bot. If you send the money, you will not receive the goods!

Kind regards,
-Clookid

How can you be so sure and which forum are you talking about?
I've bought cellphones online from other people through forums before. It's a very common way of dealing over here.

I agree, i've bought many console games from people off forums, you just have to be wary, like if they are new members or not.

Default fake sales

I have seen the bot ads you are talking about. I was on a sports forum and made a reply to the post and the next thing I know I got an email telling me thanks for the 300 and some odd dollar purchase. It was a scam and I reported it to paypal. The item for sale was some kind of mp3/phone gadget.

i would never buy real life things off forums, if a domain auction, sure why not? a website, yes of course, text links, hell yeah lol, a cell phone, NO. I'd rather go on ebay, i have more and better exp with them.
