Forum SEO Fraud

I hired someone to do SEO of my forum. They promised me to get my forum on top for a particular keyword but they failed and now they are not returning my money. I can't chargeback because I paid by Egold. What can I do? Any advice..?

Nothing much you can do man. The e-gold never chargebacks the amount. Contact e-gold authorities. they will block their future transactions so that other may not fall prey to them in future.

I have already done it and they said that they have blocked this person's e-gold account but it doesn't matter because he can open a new one without problems.

That's the problem with egold.
You can go and open any amount of accounts if the previous ones has been blocked.

Well, at least you can't get your money but you can let others know so they don't get fraud by the same company. Post about the company/site here so we could know, also post warning about them at different webmaster forums.

First of all...No SEO can guarantee that he can bring to the top...Me myself being one...He must be a stupid n00b and thats all I can say...If you have some proof you can register a case...Which company did it for you ?

You must always be careful when doing this kind of business.Better to deal with a reputed company than individuals.

Mistake is on your side, you shouldn't have payed him fully. Also you should look for some reputed SEO's in future.

I think one of the most important thing while dealing online is that one should keep record of all the conversations whether through email or chatting , So u can produce em' as evidence ...... most of all one should not pay fully beforehand.

You can get to the top, you can't stay there. SEO is a long term thing. How long was he working for you? A day, week, month, etc.
