One of the most common ways of getting scammed is using a username similar to a respected/reputed member.

I'm a member at DP also. Have never had any problems with fraud over there though. I just carefully watch the iTrader rating of all people I do business with, and it just always turns out fine for me.

iTrader doesn't always help though. The scammers now have learned to make that fraudulent as well.

Although there are scammers wherever you go, likewise digital point too have them. But not very many i could see. Now since they have stopped money exchanges in digital point, i guess it should improve even further!

I am also a member of Digital Point and yes you are right one this that fraudulent activities one DPF had been rising in the past and i think that it would be nice if DPF admin and other moderators would look into this and take some strict action against them as only by their act something can be done to stop it.

I adh also been scammed 3 times in DPF and i also think that DPF managment should do something about this if they dont want to get a scammer haunted forums reputation.

I was once scammed in DP, since then i am careful about being not scammed again.
I had written a 1500 word article , but was not paid giving silly reasons like, it is bad and has mistakes which was not true.

Yup Digital Point is becoming a scamming haven. There is nothing called trust there.
It was so good before. Once there was a guy who had to pay me for my service but he was avoiding my pm's, I just pmed him saying "If you don't have money, please pay me later when you have it". He was like ok, i will give as soon as possible.
Most of these people are not scammers, they just don't have money to pay lot of people.

I got scammed at digital point only once where the user did not pay back for the domain i sold. Else, i find digital point as a very useful forum where we can gain and share our knowledge.
