Contests

I dont know how many of you are into webdesigns and the such but i am and on a lot of the related forums they have contest areas where you design somthing in return for money, though i had many a time when ive deigned somthing and put a lot of time into it and the contest was never completed means it was a waste of my time. anyone has anyone else had anything like this happen to them?

Maybe the person who created the contest found a winner and contacted them via PM or email. It happens.
As for me, I've never done any design contests.

I am not a good designer to participate in these kind of contest but I do feel that a lot of these contest are scams.

The only thing I can do is Paint.
The only thing a scammee can do is contact the payment processor, site staff(whatever site the deal happened on) or just forget it.
