Default Why does egold allow multiple account sign-ups?

As far as I know, egold is the only major payment processor online which allows an individual to sign up for accounts more than one.
Why is this the case? Won't this give rise to more opprtunities for fraud?
If a person were to have multiple accounts, it would allow him to easily transfer the funds he has scammed from other people to the other egold accounts.

Doesn't it indicate in their terms of service that there is only one account allowed? What about associating a bank account with your e-gold account, surely this would put a damper on multiple accounts, wouldn't it?

I think all and all many have multiple accounts at third party billers but it doesn't become a factor unless there is a concern of fraud. If you forget your login, it's best however to try and get access to your old account. In the case of paypal, a lot is based on your history so for example if you have an account that may be several years old, you may want to keep that account in good standing.

I think merchants can benefit more from this type of service of E-gold. But they should also be vigilant in terms of security; I know their administrator can access different accounts, especially if that account was used for fraudulent cases.

I think it's one of the reasons why only a few people use eGold. They are afraid of being associated with scams and the like.

E-Gold allows multiple account and it is total in accordance to terms. I dont know what might be the reason behind it but probably they want to get as much customers to compete with other payment processors.

You can have more than one account. I know a few people that one more than one and there's never been a problem.
