i would prefer egold to paypal as they offer many security features such as checking of the IP addres and generating key numbers. also their connectivity is worldwide and do not make much delay in transaction.

I like both since paypal recently has some unexpected action.
Some friends' paypal accounts are limited on sending out money,
and need an address proof and/or credit card to re-enable it.
Hope paypal will stop this unliked action.
Now some friends are using more on e-gold and moneybookers and less paypal.

to be paypal is of cos better...paypal got no charge on payment receive or payment send...and my country accept withdrawal to bank from paypal is a very easy withdrawal method...however i did not know how to withdraw from egold and egold charge 5% for payment received...i think 5% is quite alot if u are sending a large amount of money

Paypal is much more secure than e-gold and they have so many security checks for your account.Also Paypal has recently taken banking licence in europe.

For me , Paypal is far better option...Yes, i agree that E-gold also have got some good features but i think Paypal simply rules....
