I do not have much experience in egold as far as fees are concerned but I assume that it is pretty much secure with a lot of people using it.

Yes, e-gold is very secure, but your e-gold account is only as secure as your own computer security.
Use anti-spyware software and never click on a link in an e-mail that says it is fro e-gold.

No, you do not need to pay anything to them for your account.
You can get information about e-gold fees at http://www.e-gold.com/fees.html

I have an account and i think it is more secure than paypal as they inform you even if there is changein your I.P . You will have to receive an email with activation key to login in your account .

I've been using e-gold since around this time last year. It's ok, but I'm worried about the security of it. I use Paypal whenever I can. I don't like the hassle of getting my money out of e-gold.

The security system is awesome at E-Gold because you can setup IP security etc. Just never give your passphrase to anyone. You can withdraw by using some third-party exchanger like IceGold.com or OmniPay.com

This statement is just biased and I have to disagree with you here. As I stated in my early post that E-Gold offer IP security so it is impossible to other person to get into your account. Also the virtual keyboard will help you against keyloggers.

Default hi

yes, one must Keep his/her password safe from others and should use computers at public places to access your account information. The session jacking is also very common these days.

The problem with E-gold is that they dont have any chargeback option available in their transactions. All they allow is banning the defaulter's account. But in any case then your money is drowned.
