I will rather prefer Paypal as a lot of people are using it but the down side is that it is not available in some countries.
E-gold is available almost everywhere.

Yes, that is a security feature that egold has implemented recently.
Paypal ought to consider introducing this feature as well soon.

No one has voted for egold. This may be because of the issues and rumors circulating on the internet about it. Yes egold ask for a turing number to be entered before you can access your account. They would also send a message to you in case they have detected a change in the IP address during your last logon. They would require you to change some settings on your account.

All the replies says it all, e-gold only comes second with paypal. I also would rather use paypal than e-gold when conducting online transactions. Anybody else would want to differ? Please give out some reasons.

I would also choose to use paypal over egold. There are more sites that paypal caters and I think that they have a better security compared to other payment processors online.

Paypal all the way for me as it is used by masses and they provide good service . Also , egold doesnt offer buyer protection as they dont have anything like " case filing " like paypal .
So , paypal all the way for me .

Paypal, FTW! Paypal is the ultimate, and no one will ever come close to what they have accomplished! I think a contract with ebay was their best move ever!

PayPal outdoes all the competition just for the fact that they are more widely used.
