Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Why do you need to share passwords anyway? I've read a lot of posts in forums about sharing passwords. Why do some people do that? It is like giving away your cards' pin number. Anyway, I hope e-gold can provide a better security feature later on because it seems that there are still many complaints about their security management. |

Some fraud web sites will ask for your e-gold account number and password when you attempt to buy from them, they word it differently, so it seems like part of the transaction. People that are unfamiliar with e-gold just follow the directions and give them their password. Also, what happens sometimes is you get an e-mail asking you to go to a web page and confirm your password, but the site only looks like e-gold, that's what tommy mentioned, don't get phished. | |
