I have never used e-gold , i only use paypal and till now i have been fully satisfied with it. I agree that e-gold is more lucrative but the account activating and money withdrawl systems of e-gold are very complicated so i never was attracted toward it in the first place.
can anyone tell me exactly why e-gold should be chosen over paypal , what are the additional benefits and services you recieve that you dont get in paypal?

When it comes to expanding, I think e-gold has more countries that can use their services compared to paypal. But I think that paypal still has the better security for their clients.

Anybody is allowed to have an account with egold.
However, the sheer difficulty in getting funds in and out of your egold account would be enough to put most people off.

Can you transfer funds from your e-gold account to your bank account? If that is possible, then I would also try it out. I think it is a more effective payment processor if that is the case, because there are more countries that e-gold caters to compared to paypal.
