Default Does E-Gold delete users' accounts?

I used to think that e-gold never deletes any accounts but my friend told me that his account was deleted by them for no apparent reason just a few days ago.
He had $50 in it as well. Does e-gold really delete user accounts?

I haven't heard of that ever happening before. What did your friend do after he found out his account was deleted? Did he try to contact e-gold's help desk or something?

I think they do delete accounts. I once have a dormant account and when I tried to access it, it said that that account doesn't exists.

They do not ban someone's account. They just put a hold on a particular account if they find suspicious activity. They also temporary suspend accounts if too many invalid login attempts are made.

They aren't suppose to do that. I would contact them if that happened to me. I'd be very upset.

Maybe someone had called up Egold with some case of fraud against him. Or he might have flouted TOS conditions of E-gold.
