Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Your egold funds earn if the gold value appreciates. This is one advantage of maintaining your funds with egold. However, if it depreciates, your corresponding egold funds also depreciate. It pays to be a good speculator. Egold is good for micropayments. |

Rep Power: 2 ![]() | The fee structure for both paypal and e-gold is same (i.e. Receiver has to pay the fees). I didn't check any charts but I have noticed that Paypal fees is way higher as compared to E-Gold.

It can be a good investment only if you have huge amount of money. If you are thinking to earn with small money then it is not worth it because most of it would be gone in fees etc.
