Default What can we do about untrustworthy sellers

When we are buying on ebay we are taking a risk that what we ordered is what we receive, luckily enough I have always received what I ordered however I can not say the same for my brother, a while back he ordered 2 electronic games and when the parcel arrived at his home he was delighted when he opened the envelope, the boxes were brand new however when he opened up the boxes there were games inside like something you would get from a McDonalds happy meal.

My brother contacted the seller and after many emails he was told that in the small print it does say that the contents may differ to the picture on the site.

What can you do here ? he tried contacting everyone related to ebay and he even contacted a solicitor and basically he was told to be more careful in the future. !

So unlucky your brother. For me i had one experience with bad seller. I already won his item but suddenly he told me don't want to sell it. Lucky for me i don't pay him yet. I straight report him to ebay and give him negative feedback. There are nothing you can do because that seller is really smart he use some trick there. Next time must buy from high rate seller only.
