    Bond on ebay

Ebay fraud has happened a lot of times on a lot of people on different ways. How frequent does it happen? Ebay should start thinking of ways to avoid fraud. I think ebay should require the sellers a sort of bond. Bonds should vary on every seller. What do you think about this?

I know a few people who have been scammed, so yes, I suppose this would be a good idea, although it could get complicated.

What kind of bond are you talking about here?
You mean a legal contract stipulating the obligations of each party?
If so, it has already been done through their terms and conditions.

Or like a bond that actually costs money like an insurance plan and if something falls thru the bond company comes in and picks up the pieces.

A bond like a seller paying insurance money and ebay proclaiming that they are bond-protected? That is a good idea. Hmmmm..

Theres millions of auctions ending every second. I think it would be really hard for eBay to do to much about it without a lot of staff and more expenses. If like a few stop using there site they really don't care as theres so many people and giving eBay so much money for eBay sellers fees.. So its kind of a good idea but it would also have many down sides.

It could really cause things to go bad if this is to come into effect at first.. They would have to figure out how to do it for each country as well..
