Guest blogging
blogging contests
Some times linking other blogs also helps

These are some of the ways i know to promote ur site .

Don't forget about the blog comments, although it's hard to find those blogs that allow the "dofollow" comments nowadays...

Also, buying the traffic will also help to increase your websites' traffic, but just only temporary...
