Default PNG images

I just wonder if you have been very particular on the kind of image files you upload on your website. I for one have been using PNG instead of JPG because of its better quality features. How about you?

In my case I'm not really that particular. My sites are basically text based thus I seldom use graphics. If ever I use graphics I just make sure that the image is optimized for web use regardless of its file format.

I usually use gifs if I can as they tend to load faster plus they have the option of being transparent.

I mostly use JPG. No special reason, I'm just used to typing in that extension. Nothing more than that. Most of my stuff is photographic.

I think there is no difference between .PNG and .JPG. Depending on what program you use.
If you use MS paint then obviously .JPG isn't better

I use PNG and JPG interchangeably. More often since I often convert GIF to JPG using Adobe, I am more inclined in using JPG. But it seems that PNG images can produce a much better image quality.
