I would be nice if dreamweaver supported that.

Php, because it's what I understand. I found it a lot easier to accomplish that some of the other ones!

Hi,
The reason why many prefer to use PHP over ASP is that PHP is much more faster and a lot more stable than ASP.
PHP runs on linux which is free,Windows solaris and other OS.While ASP is Microsoft product. We should buy any one of the original servers like Windows N.T/2000/2003 Servers.

ASP pages carry alot of weight in G SE rankings also. My first site done with ASP shot up to a PR4 with hardly any backlinks.

i feel asp wont do good for forums..personally all forum boars including paid ones like this ..Vb are also based on php..i feel php is robust..

asp sometimes has peculiar run time errors...which can be quite embarassing..and i have noticed this on big corporate websites too! using asp...but on the whole i think both are good..

PHP!

Easy to learn and free.

What about adding a poll ?

It depends on your requirements. The script .ASP is more appropriate under Windows though it can run under Linux using Chilisoft. For budgetary and popularity considerations, PHP is the better option.

omg... its start one more time :\

ASP vs PHP will never end...

Asp is better , and HARDER.
Php have less functions and things you can do with , but its cheeper and much easyer to study.

I think PHP is the best server side scripting language.Lot of reasons for that,is free, easy to find web hosting for PHP, open source community supports it so lot of source codes which is easier if you wanna code something massive, It is faster, lot of documentation. What more can i ask.
