What are some tips you guys give to people who want to build sites. I am fairly new to creating sites, mainly I just moderate them. What are some good hosts, places to buy/download templates/skins.Also good hosting companies, and forum programs such as mybb, which are the best.

For sites I just use simple content mangers like Wordpress, Joomla, or drupal. I really like these. There are may free templates for these content managers. I have to say for hosting probably Go daddy has always been good to me. They always give you discounts for being a customer.

Tips from me:

Grab as much as knowledge you can about scripts, templates, hosting.
Its better if you have some skills like php, html coding

If not you have to hire people.

Anyway good luck....
