in my opinion the complete reference is a better book for C as it covers all the semantics and that too in details. details are missing in kanitkar . more over it deals in ANSI C not standard C

yes you are right...kanitkar is waste for advanced C programmers.....what about Balaguruswamy..is this book covers evrything.....

For all the programming languages that i learn i used the "complete reference series". but for C i guess even balaguruswamy is good

The complete reference is a better book for C is the way to go on this one, you will be programming in no time at all!
