Default You should only keep one credit card for emergencies

I have found that it is best to only keep one credit card for emergencies as the interest rates are ridiculous and will never let you pay it off. If you need one for online transactions just buy those prepay cards you can get at walgreens, walmart, etc.

The more no of credit cards more r the debts. i know its pretty attracting and with all those glitters in the malls it becomes very difficult to restrain one'sself. but i totally agree. we should ve only one credit card and that also to be used only during emergencies.. or else ur sure to b burdened with a lot of debts

Yes very hard to resist. Because you always tell yourself "well i get paid so i can just that use to pay it off" But when it comes to the time that you are going to be getting paid then you have someone asking you to go to the movies with them or you have a concert coming up that you want to go to. So, you never end up actually being able to get your credit card paid off.

I would have to agree with this. Keeping 1 credit card for emergency is the best advise you can share with your friends. Paying debts is really a burden.
