One of my friend unknowingly delayed payment of his card debt by some 10 days. Next day he found that his car was stolen by collectors for CC company. Isnt it too much for missing a payment by just 10 days? His previous track is very good.

Are you sure that the collector agency stole his car? You can take a huge legal action against them if you have a proof because no law allows them to do so.

That sounds illegal to me... You can't just steal someone's car. Does he have evidence that the collection agents did it?

Never heard of anything like that before. I would highly doudt they stole his car, probably some criminal not related to the CC company.

Tell your friend to file a police report and call the CC company to see if they have done anything... and tell him to send in his bill.

I find this highly unlikely. Collection agencies would not jeopardize themselves in this manner. It was probably just an unrelated coincidence.
