Has anyone had a late fee dropped from a late credit card payment?

Well, I no not make late payment, as my bank takes a sizable interest on late payment :-(

Just if the credit card company or whatever screws up and you KNOW it's not your fault, most of the time they will just drop the charge!

It happened to be once when i paid up my minimum amount on last day and they didnt recieve it. I convinced them for it and they were happy enough to waive it off. My credit is very good.

I had one late credit card payment and I called and had the fee dropped. They dropped it because of my history of always paying on time- and in full.

I am usually up on all my debts. However I sent them a check once but they claimed that they never received it but after telling them and few applications they waived the late fees.

Not late fee, but the over-the-limit fee. I told them I will cancel my account and the customer service guy got scared and waived the fee.
