Default Can loan updates be harassment?

I have a student loans from working on my Master's degree during the last two years or so. I usually do not mind getting updates, but it is irritating to get them on the same loan from two different places.

One company is the actual company that I will be repaying my loans to, and the other is a government overseeing company that wants to make sure that the first company and I are keeping in touch with each other.

I find getting information from both too confusing. I know I owe the money, and I fully intend to pay it and the interest back. Maybe I am in the minority, but for a while I was getting a letter from either one company or the other practically every day. Since I have graduated, that has slowed down, but now occasionally I get phone calls...

To me, it's not only frustrating, but a waste of time, paperwork, and connections. Why must they update me so frequently on paper?

They are pretty much concerned about their money I`d say. hehe. Ask customer care for this thing which is harassing you. surely they`ll help.
