So I've been in debt for a while now.
It's a very small amount, well, a couple hundred dollars.
My credit card company contacted me and told me they would get a collection agency to get in touch with me.
I got a letter from this collection agency but not too long after, I got another letter from another collection agency for the exact same thing.
Is this a scam from the second agency or does more than one agency usually get in touch with people in debt?

Hmm, where I live cc companies normally do business with only one collection agency for all their business. Maybe the collection agency outsourced the job to another agency? You could always ask the first agency or the cc company, right?
