Default Should I get a credit card?

I'm a college student right now, and I'm thinking about getting a credit card so that I can start building my credit. I'm pretty sure that I'll be able handle it, and not get into debt. Is it a good idea to get a card? And what tips would you have for a first time card owner?

I would suggest you to not go for credit card on the first instance. But if you are in need of a credit card, i would suggest you to never carry it with you wherever you go, especially shopping. Use it only on what you need and not on what you want.

I certainly agree with you. use of credit cards should be made only on need. There is no argument on it. I liked your suggestion. Thanks for sharing it.

I would say to only use it for emergencies until you know for sure you can make each monthly bill on time.
