Default Resist Temptation

Have you noticed that as soon as you get that credit card debt under your thumb, here they come and offer you a half a grand credit increase. Oh wow! I can jazz up the family room with a Big Screen. Be careful. I got myself stuck for two years paying just on one holiday spending spree as the creditors were so "generous" to me in upping my limits. It is so hard to resist when they do this around the Holiday season!

They probably have your spouse's birthdate on record and decide to give you an increase just before the birthday so that you can splurge on him/her. Beware or atleast be careful

As I have mentioned in other posts, you should know how to control yourself, show proper restraints, even if they'll give you a million dollars worth of limit, you should always buy withing your means.

That is one reason why I stopped using credit cards as often as I can. I sometimes even leave it at home. And for the holidays, I try to save up or even put up my debit card a month or two before the actual holiday.

Credit cards can be a blessing or a plague....Rememebr that the credit card companies are not in the business to be your friend or out of the kindness of their hearts...they are in it to make money!!
As long as you keep self control and only spend money that you have you will be fine!

Yes, financial prudence will definitely need to be exercised if you were to use your line of credit.
Be sure not to spend beyond your means. If not, the consequences can be disastrous.

It is hard to resist the temptation brought by credit cards. But if you have enough discipline on yourself, you'll never find to be on big credit card debt.

I am hesitant to allow my wife in getting a credit card because of the temptation it brings with it.

There will always be many different things that will entice us to spend money that we don't have. Credit cards for me personally should be used in emergency instances only. I want to live withing my means as they say in other posts and threads in this forum.

hehe.. Its most generous of them to do the same. All they want is you and your spouse happy. For everything else there is mastercard. lol

Be sure not to spend beyond your means. I think you should make a proper planning of your instalments and if you feel comfortable with it, then only you should go ahead with it.
