Default Preventing credit card debt

At some stage in peoples lives they will either want or posses a credit card, unless you can pay off your credit card monthly there is no point in taking one out.

People take out credit cards and spend, spend, spend and only pay off the minimum balance owing, this amount will grow each month until you are at a stage that you owe thousands and can not pay your credit card.

People take out personal loans and consolidate to pay off credit cards which is not a good thing to do.

To prevent credit card debt, pay your card in full, monthly or do not take one out.

Without a credit card, there are some limitations. Vacations would be a hassle.

To avoid debts, your spendings should be less than your income. This is a simple formula that should be followed if you are a credit card account holder.

We should have money management. If we are not disipline, its hard to avoids debt. Credit card is good to use if we are disipline and know how to use it. Buy with credit card and pay with the same amount. They cannot charges us

You can avoid debt by following simple rules.
As "apples" said spending should be less than income.
Credit cards should be used wherever its needed.
You can choose right credit card by comparing credit cards.
Restrict the number of credit cards.

It depends on person to person. A shopaholic is likely to be always in debt if he possess credit card. So, its depends on individual how they manage their life.

I guess , Credit cards are made for this purpose. If you don't like to be in debt use debit card.

Well actually, what you're saying is not totally true. A credit card can be very helpful in building a credit history and having good credit scoring. However, you have to be a responsible individual. Paying your balance in full monthly, although it sounds like a great idea, does not help you build a good credit history. I would recommend paying more than the minimum required and never, ever being late on payments.

I do agree with you in the sense that some people will continue to use the plastic until the debt has become unmanageable, and in this case the person will then ruin their credit score, but this is certainly not the case for everyone. Credit cards are not the enemy, we, ourselves become the enemy when we forget that the money we use from credit cards is a loan and must be paid back.

You are really pathetic. Stealing people's info and then selling it on-line!!! What goes around, comes around and one day in the near future you will pay for this. People like you are the scum that ruin people's lives.
