Default Indian Debit Cards??

I tried to add my hdfc debit card to my paypal account and moneybookers but it dint worked on either. It has a Visa logo. PayPal says debit cards are also accepted if they have visa or mastercard logo Whats this?? ARent Indian Debit Cards banned by PayPal? Please help!

No use..
Indian debit cards are not accepted, I have read this many times on internet..

Only internation credit cards will help.

Yes, I have read about that also. It was stated that only international cards are accepted by paypal. I don't know why this usually is but most document states that it is for security reasons.

I don't know why they keep on banning Indian debit cards, maybe it is because there are more paper works to be done or something. But paypal should try to be more trusting of Indian online traders as they also use real currency like all the others. It is just unfair sometimes.

check if your card is accepted internationally. Only then it will be accepted there.

Indian debit cards are not accepted,and i don't know why they are banning Indian credit cards only. Does anybody know that......

There is no apparent reason for banning a card of some particular region. I think the users from this region weren't too many and that is why paypal must have not noticed this. why not bring it to the notice of paypal and proabably they might start accepting the indian debit cards also.

Note: Credit cards from India are accepted at paypal.

I too think Indian debit cards are not accepted as i think their are not many users from India, that is why they have banned Indian debit cards...
