I prefer Debit cards over credit cards in offline world for following reasons..

1) Its free
2) You can't cross the limits
3) You don't have to pay huge interest

For online transactions, credit card is a must.

I use my debt cards more than my credit cards. With them you can stay assured that you'll never turn out to be paying what you couldn't afford.

I too use Debit Cards and I think in some cases debit cards are far better than the credit cards in some situations when one need to have a fixed spending limit.

Yes, i think debit cards are expectionally good as i think their is a fixed limit in it and hence we can spend that much only that is comfortable to our pocket....

Yes, debit card is excellent if it has a visa logo on it,
and it can use as a credit card in the way.

I use debit card next to credit card. But I seldom use former because it does not have the credit card's protection feature. I don't think it is possible to file a charge back in the case of a debit card.

Debit cards are helpful for online transaction especially if you are not qualified to acquire a credit card. Just note that only debit cards with VISA logo can be used online. Otherwise such debit cards are only good for POS transactions.
