Default Buy grocery stuff with CC

I have heard people advising to use CC to pay for grocery stuffs.Can someone tell me if there is a real advantage in this?

No I have not heard of this. I myself would not use a credit card to buy groceries. The food will be gone before I get the bill. I do believe in using a debit card though.

The amount you pay is the same amount if you pay in cash. So if you don't have cash you can use your card. Moreover, you can earn points from using your card which can be redeemed for some stuff.

some cards offer more miles for grocery purchases
you might as well do it if you can use a card responsibly.

you should use you credit card for groceries if you know you can control your spending

Yes, you should use your credit card for groceries. You get miles and you get a grace period to pay... It's like buying groceries on somebody else's money. That one month grace period is AWESOME!

Yes, I agree with a lot of people here. Buy groceries with CC if you can use your CC responsibly. you get miles!!!

miles, baby. i use my credit card to get free miles. i pay coach and ride first class.

It is called points. The more you use your credit card, the more you earn points which you can use to redeem some stuff. There is nothing wrong if you use your credit card for grocery provided that you don't over spend.

Yeah, you should use your CC because you can earn mileage/miles/points.
