I used norton until I managed to delete a bunch of registry info that I shouldn't when something took over my computer.

Anyway, I now pay for the AVG version. It uses less resources than norton. I keep working while it does its scan when I never could with norton.

I have found it more useful for myself.

I have friends recommend system mechanic but I wasn't sure if they offered it bc it was good or they just wanted the commission.

ya i'd stick with avg, if you have it, but i actually perfer to just stick with regclean (free download) and avast... maybe the occasional hi-jack-this run if things are icky

I have this windows defender full version from microsoft and it is complete in all solution for my PC.

There is a software called windows one care live. It is avaialbe on 90 days free trial from microsoft.

I am using NORTON and nod 32 av , i think they both are simply the best!!
