Default Government assistance

In our country, there is a department that takes good care of customer's concerns and complaint against companies and merchants. It is the Department of Trade Industry that handles this.

In US, what department of bureau handles this? What assistance do they give the consumers?

I think the same with your country's as well. They do everything they can to make each consumer transaction secured. If a consumer has problem with a certain business, it is their right to have such bureaus to check on that company to make sure it won't happen again.

Yep, we have it too, unless you are already talking about the US? If you are, sorry! I have also found it handy to take legal action with a lawyer also!

I am not from US so can't say anything but in my country there is a similar thing which helps the consumers or customers who have faced fraud in any type of business.
