Scams on BBB

I've read from a source that even the BBB (Better Business Bureau) was recently used for Scams. The report said that the phishers sent in e-mails with a hyper link that returns it to them with the victim's information.

People do that out of desperation, people have to start not trusting their emails lol, i never give out information online, if a company i know sent me an email asking for it, I call them first to confirm, if not, i just delete it or report it to them.

I get your drift; but these e-mails were sent to companies stating that a certain Mr."Joe" is filing a case against the company and that the case is Hyperlinked and is redirected to the phishers own copy site of BBB and they will tell you to download a file, namely a virus type file that gets vital information regarding the user and the company as well.

There is no limit for scammers ideas, you have to make sure before you download any file, If this kind of e-mails came and you don't know whether it is a scam or not, e-mail back to confirm.

As the softwares for security purposes are becoming more sophisticated nowadays, scammers are coming up with different ways to make a run for your money; even having the guts to sabotage the bureau that is working hard against such them and even using such agencies' name so that people will feel secured and give in easily. So everyone should watch out always and don't be too trustful.

There are a lots of phishing emails prevailing around. According to a statistics, there are more than 100000 million emails sent daily and 20% is just SPAM!

BBB is a good site to check on frauds and scams. I am surprised to hear the news that it was also used for scam. What can I say, scammers our there kept on creating and thinking new ideas on how to go with the flow of advancement.

As people kept on discovering how to protect accounts and prevent scams, scammers kept on developing new schemes and techniques to continue what they're doing.

I shall never like to my email anyone anonymous to me . Another way to know about spammers is to use your gmail . I have read somewhere that you can attach something before your email in an input form and you can see who used you without your permission .
