Default Most frequent consumer frauds

Frauds are around everywhere. Hereunder are the categories of frauds mostly complained by consumers:

1. Identity theft
2. Internet Auctions
3. Foreign Money Offers
4. Work at home plans and business opportunities
5. Freebies, lotteries & prizes
6. Advance-Fee Loans and Credit Protection
7. Job placement fees

Precautionary measures should be taken for businesses above. If you know something to add on this list, kindly post it here.

These are most common but almost newbies are being infected by these .
I have seen many friends who are going to believe fully on these and going to send their details but found nothing else than some massive mails in their account .

Well I guess that the only way that you may help your friends is explaining to them and tell them that these are fraudulent sites and they shouldn't even bother to visit let along join. I think that Identity thefts are also rampant and can be devastating if left unnoticed. These scams can use your info for their own benefit without you knowing it; if you ain't careful.

Yes that is a good way to protect friends but i shall say "It is difficult to convince them " .It is a human nature and many of us are being scamed from frauds which we know .

Agreed. The most dangerous of all is identity theft because it can also lead people to criminal proceeding apart from financial losses
