U may get calls from a cheater stating that he is from so n so company...he'll ask u to press some button on ur phone...n as soon as u do dat...he can track ur fone..so pls b careful

Hmm, that sounds like an urban myth to me - there are phone tracking services out there, but they aren't very precise, and they can't really do you any harm...

Do you have any more information about this fraud?

tracking of fones can b very harmful...the deals that u do on phone ....everything confidential u do...everything is tracked...dat is tooooooooo toooo toooooo risky

Hmm, I very, very much doubt that anyone outside of a cell phone company would be able to record a phone conversation. There could be dodgy phone company employees, but they can do it without making you press buttons on your phone.

The only thing that can be done easily is finding the location of the phone, as far as I know.

Do you have any reliable evidence otherwise? If so, I'd love to read it.

It has been done a lot of times, but normally or to fraud normal people, as it needs money so the victim has to be loaded so it would worth it.

yeah.... i've even read in a local daily that some people call you and they ask you to dial some numbers from your mobile and can hack your mobile and rob you... i can understand hacking but how the hell can anyone rob you???

Never reveal private and confidential information over telephones, emails, websites. NEVER EVER do this, or you're gonna be mad when you'll see the billing statement!

Regarding the tracking thing, what does it mean? Could anyone expound on that area? Do you mean they can find out where you are or something? Cos if that is what you mean, there is a service like that on a certain mobile service provider in which you could just text a server and they can pin point to you a certain registered person; as long as that person has allowed you to know where he/she is.
