There are many HYIPs on internet and they accept egold which can't be chargeback. They often run away with people's money without paying them. Has this ever happened to you?
I have sadly participated in some HYIPs few years back. They promised to give me 75% profit (they had some type of bubble game). Anyways, it was a total loss because they website shut down before I got payment.

HYIP is short for High Yield Investment Program. 99% of the are ponzis so they use new member money to pay for other members. When they have enough they close down keeping everyones money.
I've only just started looking into HYIPs - obviously I understand the Ponzi principle but how do they make money (Ponzi went bankrupt)?
Are they a limited company who go bankrupt after the owners withdraw all the funds? If so, then in the UK at least they could still be investigated for fraud.
althought we cannot chargeback them but we can report them to egold admin...and make their egold account frozen...but however this cannot make our scammed money return beware of 8invest don't ever join them
