15$ for an item on eBay. It was really all my fault cos I didn't check the guy's feedbacks and reputation. Good thing it didn't happen again after that, I did learn my lesson.

I lost around 60$ for a used mobile phone being sold online. I wasn't able to have a chargeback cos I didn't realize that it can't be activated in my area until it arrived in the mail.

I got a charge back on a computer i sent out on ebay. I lost I think $500 or more. With paypal it really favored the buyer at the time i couldnt do anything except escalate it to paypal or give the guy his money. I didnt have half the options they do now.

well funny story, well funny to me, yesterday I purchased a link on this website for my website as advertisement for a whole year, cost me 5 Pound Sterlings, it was an online form tha requested the website url and name. I put in the name but website url i messed up, put another site that doesnt need advertising. Thats more than $10 usd lol, i've contacted them, waiting for response to fix it. If they dont fix, that $10 is gone to nothing.

I lost $300 on various items from an electronic merchant. I ordered one day, and the next they were nowhere to be found.

I lost 86 dollars, the most ever, when I purchased a software program from another programmer. A lot of people were saying good things about the program in other forums, so I thought I would try it out. It was junk being tauted by the guys friends as the best thing since sliced bread and I fell for it hook, line and sinker.
