paypal disputes

hello

i have always been curious about this paypal dispute process, let me set up a senario

1. i recieve $100
2. i transfer $75 this to bank account
3. therefore i have $25 paypal balance
4. dispute is setup for the $100 by the other party, either for wrong item type or invalid access

so does paypal just give them the $25? or do they enter into my bank account and take the $75

i have always been curious what happens here, as from a buyers side i want to know just by transfering funds out can the seller avoid the process of disputes which is quite a loophole

also, i heard there were ways to protect against chargebacks with paypal if you are a seller of virtual goods, such as creating an invoice

is that true? as you can state exactly that the item is virtual so paypal can easily see that and invalidate the dispute of the buyer

They take the $25 from your PayPal account. If you fail to present the rest within a certain amount of time, your Paypal account is locked till payment is received and/or the dispute is settled.

You can create invoices by clicking the "Create an Invoice"(lol) link at the top of your menu. PayPal doesn't have any protection against virtual goods at all so it could go either way.

they will go into your bank account and withdraw the funds if they can. paypal is a scam, and we don't deal with them anymore and I would suggest to everyone to do the same. don't ever give paypal access to your bank account or your credit card. if paypal made an unauthorized withdrawal, call your bank and tell them it's unauthorized and they will give you your money back, however you have to file the right form.
