Rep Power: 0 ![]() | can anybody sue you if you are selling some branded stuff on your website? One of my friend have put some branded product on his wesite for sale. I warned him not to do so but he ignored it. Then after few weeks he recieved a letter from a lawyer saying their are going to take action against him. though he removed the products from his website but the lawyer is still harassing him. Since he has removed the products is there still a possibilty of legal action against him. He can not afford lawyer. Please help!! |

| Senior Member | If it's down, there really isn't anything the lawyer can do. Your friend followed his directions. The lawyer has no proof, right? Unless the site was Archived(.org) when he had the products up. Also, if your friend made any profits from these products, he is able to get sued. |
